Imandeep and Steve

Imandeep Kaur
Imandeep is a Sikh (baptised Amritdhari Sikh) and lives in Solihull, just outside of Birmingham. She is currently finishing her MSc in International Development at the University of Birmingham.
She studied Religion and Development amongst other modules on her university course. Her dissertation will include a field study in India, including work on religion and development.
She is also a qualified Personal Trainer and enjoys working in the community to help people (especially women) access fitness and exercise classes.
Steve Hirst
Steve is 25 years old and grew up in Watford but has been based in Birmingham for the last five years – apart from a two year spell in Africa. His faith background is Christianity, and he is on a constant journey exploring this.
He studied Youth and Community Work and Applied Theology at Oxford Brookes University. After graduating in 2008, he spent two years living and working in Ghana and established a charity in Ghana working with street children, orphans and other underprivileged children.
The Springfield Project with The Feast – Birmingham, UK
Springfield Project is a community project based at St. Christopher's Church in Springfield, south east Birmingham. The Project started in 1999 and currently provides a nursery, a play & stay group, out of school clubs, and a family support team. The primary purpose of The Springfield Project is to provide support and activities for the community.
