Anthony is Jewish, 23 years old, and grew up in Hainault, Essex. He attended the University of Glasgow for his undergraduate degree in Psychology and for postgraduate study in Human Rights.

His passions are for people and travel, as well as experiencing lots of new cultures, foods and languages. He has had the privilege of volunteering on teaching projects in Ghana (2006), Kenya (2008) and Cambodia (2009).

While at university he founded OneVoice Glasgow, the first European student chapter of the OneVoice Movement, which empowers youth in Israel and Palestine to seize back the agenda for peace building.

He is the youngest ever person awarded “UK and Ireland Young Thinker of the Year” in 2009, awarded for a speech on human rights.

Rizwan is a 23-year-old Muslim from London. Since 2009, Rizwan has been a participation worker at Islington Council Children Services department, working on the groundbreaking borough-wide project Young Muslim Voices.

His work empowers and engages young Muslims via civic participation campaigns, as well as helping to shape and influence policies that may affect them.

Rizwan also set up the Young Refugee Voices project which delved into the experiences, stories and traumas young refugees and asylum-seekers have faced in their lives using art methods to express themselves.

Rizwan launched his own graphic design company in July 2010 and is currently working on a new project which aims to raise local and national awareness of the key social and political issues facing British Pakistani youth.
