  • Sikh Response: A glimmer of light in the darkness

    As I returned from a jubilant day in the Olympic Park in awe of the spirit of the world coming together under one banner, there was hope in difficult times for many across the world. However, I was suddenly reminded of the unpredictable and uncertain nature of the times we live in. The shooting in cold blood of congregants at the Sikh Gurdwara in Wisconsin shocked me to the core.

  • Where’s The Net? Closing Ceremony takes Place in Sierra Leone

    On Thursday 26th at the National Stadium Atlantic Hall, The Tony Blair Faith Foundation Faiths Act programme held a closing ceremony for their global malaria prevention awareness campaign ‘Where’s the Net?’.  The campaign, a global interfaith initiative aimed at raising awareness about malaria across the world was an overwhelming success. Launched in Freetown in February 2012 by the First Lady, H.E. Mrs.

  • Where’s The Net? Delivers | Sumitomo chemical donates 51 bed nets to Ghevra community in India

    A thunderstorm and incessant rain wasn't enough to dampen the spirits of students from DLF Public School,  whose students travelled to Savda Ghevra slum resettlement colony in New Delhi to perform a play about malaria prevention. We have been working in this colony for the last year on malaria and maternal health.
