We discussed the responsibility people in all parts of the world have in eliminating poverty. Whether or not we see poverty around us, our choices effect the welfare of our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world.
We watched and discussed a video about backbiting. How we treat our friends close to home correlates with how we treat those we don’t personally know. If we’re compassionate with our friends, hopefully we will also be compassionate with others.
